Right of Way Can Sill Be Painful [Jan. 11th, 2005|07:09 pm]
Asmodeus X
A rather disturbing pattern of car accidents and members of Asmodeus X is beginning to form.

As you may know, the members of Asmodeus X narrowly escaped severe injury and perhaps death when the rental truck they were in was totaled in a multiple roll accident. The same kind of wreck that people die from. All walked away with no serious injuries although the same could not be said for their gear.

Flash forward a little more than four years and another accident involving one of Asmo's finest. This time, he would not be so lucky.

Paul Fredric, the lead singer, songwriter, and deviant mastermind behind the Black Corps was minding his own business crossing the street after getting off work when a deranged lunatic talking on his cell phone while driving plowed into Paul in the middle of the street. Okay, so the guy might not have been deranged, but he was on the phone and obviously not paying attention therefore inflicting bodily harm to our beloved Fritzi.

To say that Paul is feeling a bit of discomfort would be an understatement. He does have two broken ribs and is in quite a bit of pain. The kind of pain that you would describe as "feeling like I got hit by a car". He obviously will survive, perhaps with no visible scars but with one heck of a story to tell.

Keep him on your mind and send plenty of positive energy his way. He's got at least 3 months of recovery time ahead of him.

The band will play on, but how soon and to what degree...well, only time will tell.
